Elections Worldwide 2011

Below is a list of presidential and parliamentary elections across the world in 2012. The list is not complete, since the dates for some elections have not yet been determined. In other cases the month is known but not the date.

The end column shows either the gender of the current incumbent (for Presidential elections) or, for Parliamentary elections, the current percentage of women MPs (taken from the Inter-Parliamentary Union website at http://www.ipu.org/wmn-e/classif.htm).

CFWD will be reporting on the outcomes of many of these elections during the year.
