Polish-French physicist and chemist, first woman to win the Nobel Prize and the first person to win two.

 

Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.

 

Life is not easy for any of us, but what of that? We must have perseverance and, above all, confidence in ourselves.

 

One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done.
