Our Partners are special people.

The Centre for Women & Democracy is dedicated to keeping women’s representation on the agenda. Whether in Parliaments and Assemblies, on local councils or public bodies, we know that women are under-represented, and, as our recent report Unintended Consequences shows, this is set to get worse, not better.

In other words, after over a century of progress, we’re starting to go into reverse.

We don’t think that’s good enough; our target is to create a democracy in which men and women of all communities share equally and are equally represented. We are committed to researching what’s happening, raising awareness, and campaigning for change. Working alone or with partners, we are determined to keep women’s voices in the debate and women’s representation on the agenda.

But we need support from the people who agree with us, and here’s where you can help.

Both individuals and organisations are welcome to become Partners.

• a FREE copy of A Little Political Handbook – our new Democracy Works handbook explaining all the key terms in UK politics (including which European institution does what)
• hard copies of all our reports
• our new Democracy Works magazine free to your door three times a year (first edition in October)
• invitations to special Partners’ events
• invitations to CFWD events and special rates for seminars and training events
• your name (and, if an organisation) logo on the Partners page of our website (if you don’t wish us to do this, just let us know)

In addition, of course, you will receive our enewsletter and lots of information about what we’re doing and ideas for how you can help.

The rates are very straightforward, just:

Individual                                £150

Charities and non-profit           £175

Other organisations                 £200

You can pay easily and securely through Paypal (even if you haven’t got a Paypal account) knowing that every penny of your subscription will go towards our work.

If you want to pay by cheque please send it, together with your name, address and email address to us at the same address.
