CFWD is delighted to announce that it has secured Heritage Lottery Fund funding to run a project researching and recording the history, lives and experiences of women councillors in the Yorkshire & the Humber region. We’ll be talking to women councillors past and present of all parties (and none), recording their experiences, producing a booklet, exhibition and film and creating material which can be archived and used for future research.
To find out more, and to follow the project's progress, go to Yorkshire Women Councillors or sign up for our Enewsletter (see panel on left of page).
