Take a look at our publications and factsheets and you'll see that the nature of our research means that we have to build up a lot of background information, build databases, and keep up with changes as things develop.
As a result, we're always looking for volunteers to help us to do this.
You don't need to be in Leeds (where we are based), but you do need to have access to a computer and the internet. Nor do you need any particular expertise in women's representation; we'll send you a briefing note and talk you through what we're looking for. What you do need is accuracy, an eye for detail, and an interest in improving women's representation and power.
In return, we'll acknowledge your help in any publications to which your work contributes, invite you to our events, send you copies of our publications, and be generally very grateful to you!
Interested? Then drop us an email with some information about yourself - who you are, how you can be contacted, where you live, what you're interested in and so on. Then we'll get back to you and take it from there.
We're sorry that we can't normally offer any payment for volunteers; however, from time to time our funded projects include payment for basic research, in which case existing volunteers would be our first point of call.
